Shook My Booty!!!!

Well, I experienced a real live earthquake today with a magnitude of 5.9! I was at lunch in downtown Silver Spring with a couple of co-workers when all of the sudden the table, drinks, windows, everything started shaking. We were sitting outside underneath a huge concrete staircase that leads to the second floor of the building (kinda set-up like Salt Lake’s Gateway), one lady got up and ran out from underneath. It took me quite a while to believe that it was actually an earthquake and not a HUGE truck that was going to drive by at any moment.

I was a little shaken up, as were my co-workers! I kept expecting after shocks, but so far haven’t felt anything. It was crazy and a tad scary! Good thing I don’t live in California!
