Halloween

Halloween is coming in just a couple of weeks... ugh! I haven't really been a fan of this holiday even as a kid. I was eleven when I had the best time on this weird holiday of knocking on complete strangers doors and asking for candy. In true pre-teen spirit, I left the house dressed as a princess ran to a friends house across the street and changed. What did I change into?? Well, let's just say that I am extremely embarrassed to admit that!

Needless to say, for that night my friend's mother drove us in the wagon to the golf course houses (best place for all the good candy) and I was walking on cloud nine! :)

Fast forward sixteen years and here I am. Only this time I can't walk out as a princess (too old) and won't even mention the other costume! So, what does a 27 year-old dress up for at Halloween?? In the previous years, I have always hidden away or gone to parties where costumes weren't allowed. This year I have to worry about my residents and a DANCE! That's right, a dance where all the costumes are amazing!! Serious thought goes into some of those costumes all year - - it's that crazy out here!!!
